Job DescriptionTe Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity An exciting opportunity exists to assist in the clinical research programme of the Centre for Brain Research. We are looking for an experienced Research Nurse to support a multidisciplinary team in the Dementia Prevention Research Clinic, recruiting people with mild cognitive decline or in the very early stages of dementia to join a longitudinal research cohort to follow the natural course of the disorder and to test strategies to slow disease onset and progression. You will coordinate various tasks from participant set-up to data archiving. You will recruit and consent participants, collect clinical data, take research samples, and proactively manage the progress of the study. The role requires extensive knowledge and experience within a clinical research environment. In addition, you will be an excellent organiser and have a meticulous approach, ensuring that all aspects of research protocols are adhered to, monitoring and reporting events while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
