    Job Description:

    Assistant Manager (at the rank of Senior Technical Officer) in the Division of Neurology of the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 536604) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

    Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor’s degree, with at least 5 years’ hands-on experience in developing, implementing and managing medical-related events and exhibitions. They should be competent in creative software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD and Flash. Knowledge of video production and website design is preferred.

    The appointee will primarily work on projects within the Stroke Research and Prevention Group of HKU (HKU Stroke). He/She will plan and organize events, conferences, exhibitions and marketing promotions; assist in the development of creative concepts, layout and artwork for various platforms such as websites, academic publications and posters; and be responsible for training and supervising junior staff.

    A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
