    Job Description:

    Senior Manager/ Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant I/ II) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 536472) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary for Senior Manager and 10% for Manager, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

    Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 10 years’ work experience in the higher education sector or of a related field. They should be competent communicators with a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to keep their subordinates motivated to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. An excellent command of English and Chinese; a high level of interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills, as well as an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential. A track record of successful project management is a must, and a good working knowledge of the latest educational technologies would be an advantage. Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Manager.

    The appointee will play a versatile role in driving projects for teaching and learning with senior academics on the application of novel educational technologies (including simulation and Generative AI) in classroom and laboratory settings for professional undergraduate programmes. The introduction of new initiatives will require the appointee to work closely with teaching and technical staff as well as administrators, and to engage with students in the process of deploying new tools/approaches in teaching and learning. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.

    A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
