    Job Description:

    Manager, Alumni and Student Services (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref: 536400) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
    Applicants should possess a good bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably with a Master’s degree in business-related disciplines, plus at least 5 to 8 years’ relevant experience in programme administration, public relations, event planning, communication and management. They should have supervisory and budget administration experience. Prior work experience in higher education sector would be an advantage. They should also have a solid command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), sound interpersonal and communication skills, good organizational skills with high attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, and be strong team builders and outcomes-driven leaders with good connections with the professional community and industry. They should have solid knowledge of the the business environment and have rich experience in interacting with entrepreneurs, corporate executives and other business leaders. Priority will be given to those with prior experience interacting with institutions and entrepreneurs in both China and overseas.
    The appointee will provide support to the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme in the Faculty. He/She will also be responsible for establishing an alumni organization; ensuring good relationships and timely, effective communication with students, alumni, and various stakeholders; financial planning and control; events coordination within and outside the Faculty; preparing promotional articles/materials for student/alumni events, preparing proposals, reports and publicity materials for alumni projects, the appointee should be proficient in using various promotional platforms and perform any other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and during weekends, as well as travel outside Hong Kong occasionally.
