    Job Description:

    Applications are invited for the appointment as Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the School of Governance and Policy (Ref.: 536370) to commence as soon as possible, on two-year fixed term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

    The Role

    The appointee will coordinate postgraduate student enrichment activities, and manage School projects including the development of a proposed professional doctoral degree, the organisation of the Executive Leadership Hub, and other initiatives. Responsibilities also include monitoring project timelines, facilitating communication among stakeholders, managing general office administration, and performing other duties as assigned by the School Director/Secretary.

    Qualifications and Qualities

    Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of administrative experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector. They should have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in common computer applications, and social media and the ability to work independently and under pressure. They should be good team players, self-motivated, and possess a strong sense of responsibility.
