Job Description:

Senior Executive Assistant/ Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.:536204) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of secretarial work experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; IT proficiency; good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; and the ability to work independently. Those with less experience will be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II).

The appointee will provide executive and secretarial support to the clinical staff in the Department; support day-to-day office operations; and perform other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test and an interview.
