    Job Description:

    Technical Officer in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.:535017) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

    Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a postgraduate degree. They should have at least 2 years of solid work experience in biological sciences or a related laboratory science discipline, and mouse genetics. Experience in animal behaviour and surgical procedures is advantageous. They should also be highly motivated and able to work independently and as a team in a multidisciplinary laboratory environment.

    The appointees will provide laboratory and administrative support in biomedical research, and technical support in communal facilities, and assist in teaching, including student practicum.

    A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
