Job Description:

Nurse (holding the functional title of Research Nurse) in the Department of Surgery, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 535026) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, and be registered with the Hong Kong Nursing Council or equivalent. They should have good computer knowledge including Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and preferably SPSS (for Windows); and knowledge of statistical analysis. Those with past experience of clinical work in public hospital would have an advantage.

Scope of work includes, but not limited to, subject identification and recruitment; medical record retrieval and assessment; data and blood collection; data entry and database management; and clinical trials reporting and management. Contacts with patients and clinical specimen may be required.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
