Job Description:
Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Clinical Oncology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.:536933) (to commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above, preferably in Cancer Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Biological Science, or healthcare-related disciplines with at least 1 year's post-qualification experience in the management of clinical projects and/or pathology laboratories, skills on database and human resources management. They should have a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English; and the ability to work independently, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and with external parties.
The appointee will be actively involved in several precision oncology projects; liaise closely with frontline health care workers, pathology laboratories research assistants; monitor a prospective clinical database; and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
