Job Description:

Full-time Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the School of Nursing (Ref: 536959) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline, preferably with experience in research project coordination and research data management. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese), alongside strong interpersonal and organisational skills. They should be responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. Knowledge of sexual health and sexuality education, as well as prior experience in conducting social welfare research, working with non-governmental organisations (NGOs), or working in primary/secondary schools, is highly preferred.

The appointees will assist the Principal Investigator in coordinating a community-based research project on comprehensive sexuality education in primary and secondary schools. Responsibilities include assisting with a broad range of administrative and project management functions, such as progress reporting and financial management. The role also involves liaising with a funding body, partner NGOs, and local schools in Hong Kong for smooth project implementation, as well as performing other duties as assigned.
