Job Description:
Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Engineering (Ref.: 536876) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, a diploma, or an equivalent qualification, together with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within tertiary institutions. They should demonstrate an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), effective interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Candidates should be self-motivated, highly attentive to detail, and able to work independently under tight deadlines. IT proficiency, the capacity to learn quickly, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently are essential. Experience or knowledge in human resources and financial management is an advantage.
The appointee will provide a full spectrum of administrative support in human resources and finance-related areas, including recruitment and appointments, facilitating staff onboarding, supporting committee work, assisting with resource allocation, preparing reports for management, monitoring financial processes, and perform any other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
