Job Description:

Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant in the Faculty of Science (Ref: 536913) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).

The Role

The appointee will be responsible for a mix of administrative and coordination work in undergraduate and/or taught postgraduate programme administration, including:

• Providing administrative support for undergraduate and/or taught postgraduate curricula matters, including examinations, teaching & learning, course enrolment, timetabling, graduation, experiential learning, student exchange, academic advising, and other student-related matters;
• Liaising with students, academic staff, and external parties;
• Performing any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Qualities

• A recognized Bachelor’s degree;
• Preferably a minimum of 3 to 4 years’ work experience for the Senior Executive Assistant position; candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant. Experience in the tertiary education sector is an advantage;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; good IT proficiency; attention to detail; and the ability to multitask and prioritize. Self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team;
• A strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
