    Full-time Audiologist (at the rank of Research Officer) in the Faculty of Education (Ref.:536915)

    Applications are invited for the captioned post. The successful candidate will be involved in a specific research project related to hearing health management.

    Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Audiology and be qualified Audiologists in Hong Kong. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in hearing evaluation and hearing-aid fitting.

    The appointee should be able to work independently within a multidisciplinary team and liaise effectively with external parties, including social service groups. He/She should be responsible, organized, self-motivated, hardworking, and able to manage multiple tasks. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese, together with strong interpersonal and communication skills, is essential.

    Job duties:

    • Deliver the clinical components of a research project related to hearing, including conducting formal hearing tests, hearing aid fitting & fine-tuning, and assisting the consulting expert on problem cases at the centers
    • Manage the inventory of hearing devices
    • Assist with project events
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    The appointment will commence on 1 November 2026 and end on 31 October 2029, on a three-year fixed-term basis.

    A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and professional leave, medical benefits, and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
