Senior Facilities Assistant/Facilities Assistant in the Safety Office (Ref.: 536814) (To commence in September 2026, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants for the Senior Facilities Assistant position should possess 5 passes in HKCEE/ HKDSEE/ equivalent or combination of specialized training, education and experience. Applicants should have completed Form 5 or equivalent for the Facilities Assistant position. Work experience in laboratories, workshops or general workplaces would be an advantage but not compulsory, as on-the-job training will be provided. They should also have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; good communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work independently in a variety of settings. Possession of a Light Goods Vehicle driving licence would be an added advantage.

The appointee will assist in carrying out inspection, testing and problem solving of laboratory safety equipment, and implementing an environmental monitoring programme on University premises; and perform other duties as required.

應徵高級設備事務助理須具備香港中學會考五科合格/香港中學文憑考試五科第二等級/同等成績 或相關專業訓練，學歷和經驗。 應徵設備事務助理須具備中五程度或同等學歷。具實驗室，工場或一般處所工作經驗者優先，部門會提供在職訓練及指導。受聘者亦須具備良好的中文和英文讀寫能力；良好的溝通能力和人際關係；以及在各種環境下獨立工作的能力。持有輕型貨車駕駛執照者將獲優先考慮。

受聘者須協助同事進行實驗室設備的檢查，測試及故障處理，在校園進行環境監測工作；及執行其他委派職務。
