    Job Description:

    Post-doctoral Fellow in Intelligent Structural Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering (Ref.: 536424), to commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

    This post will be supported by ITF Research Talent Hub scheme with highly competitive salary. Applicants should preferably possess a Ph.D. degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computational Mechanics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with an outstanding track record of publications and research project experience. Applicants who are in the process of completing a Ph.D. degree will also be considered. Desirable qualifications include physics deep learning, digital twin, smart and resilient infrastructure. Excellent written and oral communication abilities, and a collaborative attitude are wanted.

    The appointee will conduct original and collaborative research; author and co-author peer-reviewed publications; collaborate in ongoing projects and develop new research proposals. Inquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. Jiaji Wang at [email protected]
