    Job Description:

    Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Engineering (Ref.: 536800) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

    Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ working experience, preferably in higher education or a related sector. They should be versatile in both general project management and marketing planning, preferably familiar with the latest trends in undergraduate admissions in Hong Kong, Asia and beyond, and possess an excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua), together with good skills in public speaking, communication, event and stakeholder engagement. Experience in university admission and related activities is an absolute asset. Applicants should also be good team players with strong interpersonal skills, who enjoy engaging with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

    The appointee will be responsible for a wide range of admissions-related duties, such as programme coordination, outreach and marketing, and admissions exercises. He/She will occasionally be required to work off-campus, to travel to the Chinese mainland and overseas (such as Southeast Asia, India and Central Asia, etc.) to support outreach activities or deliver presentations in high schools, and to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. He/She will also be required to support administrative tasks related to admissions, and perform any other duties as assigned.

    Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

    A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
