Full-time/Part-time Receptionist (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Institute for Advanced Dentistry Multi-Specialty Clinic (IAD-MSC) of the Faculty of Dentistry (several posts) (Ref.: 536827)
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join the IAD-MSC of the Faculty of Dentistry as Receptionists (at the rank of Clerk II).
The Role
The appointees will be responsible for:
- Assisting with patient registration and appointment scheduling;
- Handling invoicing and payment collection;
- Answering enquiries via telephone, email, and WhatsApp;
- Providing administrative support to resident doctors (MDS students);
- Coordinating with internal and external parties;
- Maintaining accurate patient records and clinic documentation; and
- Performing other duties as assigned.
On-the-job training will be provided.
Qualifications and Qualities
- A Higher Diploma or above in any disciplines;
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience;
- A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage);
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
- A strong customer service mindset with good telephone etiquette;
- A responsible, proactive, and self-motivated attitude;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment; and
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details.

What We Offer
The appointments will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, or temporary part-time contract for up to 1 year, to commence as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. For full-time appointments, a 5-day work week (with Saturday/ Sunday/ Public Holidays off) and daytime shift duties according to the operational needs of the clinic will be adopted. For part-time appointments, a flexible working schedule will be arranged based on clinic service demands.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointments on fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits, if applicable.
