Job Description:

Nurse (holding the functional title of Research Nurse) (several posts) in the Department of Emergency Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 536780) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year or a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Studies, and be registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong or equivalent. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese), and good communication skills. Applicants should also be patient, responsible, independent and able to work under pressure. Experience in accident and emergency departments and blood-taking skills is preferred but not mandatory.

The appointee will be responsible for coordinating patient recruitment for research studies funded by the Health and Medical Research Fund (HMRF), as well as providing support for other research projects and related duties as required. Travel among Accident & Emergency Departments in Hong Kong and flexible working hours may be required.
