    Job Description:

    Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor / Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.:536767), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

    Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in social work, psychology, public health, health economics, or a related discipline, and demonstrate strong potential for high-quality research in areas such as ageing, cognitive impairment, and social capital. We are looking for highly motivated postdoctoral researchers with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and ability to work as an effective member of a team. Applicants should also be proficient in in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese. Those with substantial and relevant experience in research project management and strong track record of publications may be considered for the post of Research Assistant Professor.

    The appointee will be working closely with multidisciplinary scholars and a research team focusing on healthy ageing and non-pharmacological intervention, and will be responsible for data management and analysis, preparation of research reports and high-quality manuscripts, development of proposals and research design, liaisons with community partners, presentation of research findings at local and international conferences, supervision of junior research staff in academic activities, and other duties as assigned by the Principle Investigator.
