    Job Description:

    Part-time Fitness Centre Coordinator (at the rank of Facilities Assistant) in the Centre for Sports and Exercise (CSE) (Ref.: 536718) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

    Applicants should have a Higher Diploma/Associate Degree, preferably in Sports Science, Exercise Science or equivalent. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). They should be dynamic and proactive, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and user groups; and capable of working independently, as well as collaborating effectively within a team. Possession of a valid certificate and qualification in fitness training would be considered an advantage.

    The appointee will oversee the use of the fitness centres, provide general training guidance, ensure users’ safety, maintain the tidiness of the facilities, assist with fitness and wellness projects, and undertake other duties as assigned.

    This position will be primarily based at the HKU B-Active at Novum Place in Shek Tong Tsui or Centennial Campus. The appointee will be required to work in shift duties between 07:30 and 22:30. On-the-job training will be provided.

    A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits, if applicable.
