    Job Description:

    Clerk I / II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Assistant) in the Department of Emergency Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 536601) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

    Applicants should possess a Higher Diploma or above, with at least 5 years’ full-time work experience, preferably in the higher education sector. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin), effective communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, and strong computer literacy. They should be detail-oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and ethics, as well as competent in general administration. They should also be able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines, prioritize multiple tasks efficiently, and maintain a positive attitude. Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be appointed as Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II).

    The appointee will provide executive support on a wide spectrum of tasks, including but not limited to academic programme management, committee support, student support services, and general office administration. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

    A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
