Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 536743)

We now invite applications for the captioned post(s) in an innovative research project focused on developing novel nose-to-brain drug delivery systems for inhalation therapy.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform experiments with defined goals and timeline
• Record experiment procedures, process data, analyze results and literature research
• Support in-vivo and in-vitro experiments
• Prepare reports and manuscripts
• Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor(s)

Requirements

• a Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in pharmaceutical science, biomedical sciences, biological sciences, Chinese medicine or a related discipline
• Candidates with experience in cellular and in-vivo studies (animal surgery, behavioral tests) are preferred
• Fluent in English in both writing and verbal communications; clear and concise writing skills
• Good time management with a strong sense of responsibility and research ethics
• Self-motivated team player who can be assertive to achieve results
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, as well as strong teamwork abilities

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
