    Job Description:

    Executive Officer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (Ref.: 536588) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

    Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 4 years’ work experience in tertiary institutions. They should demonstrate excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese). A high level of interpersonal, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills, as well as an appropriate level of IT knowledge are essential. They should also be capable of working independently, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative. Experience in taught postgraduate programme management would be an advantage.

    The appointee will be responsible for overseeing the operations of taught postgraduate programmes. Key responsibilities include managing teaching and learning activities such as timetabling, course enrolment, admissions, examinations and student affairs. The role also involves supporting the MSc alumni assoication, organizing programme-related events, providing support for university and faculty events, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, supervising office and clerical staff, serving as secretary for departmental committees, and performing other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

    A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
