Research Assistant Professor

Job Description:

Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 536613), to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biostatistics, psychiatry, psychology, or any related discipline. They should have a strong quantitative background and experience in analyzing data using R, Python, or other statistical packages, as well as demonstrated expertise in the analysis of large and complex datasets in relationship to psychosis or other psychiatric conditions. They must possess excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to work independently as well as in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in longitudinal analyses, multilevel modeling, data visualization, and state-of-the-art statistical and epidemiological models, particularly in pharmacoepidemiology would be an advantage. Preference will be given to those with at least 2–3 years of postdoctoral research experience.

The appointee will participate in research on early psychosis, treatment resistant state of schizophrenia and neurodevelopmental disorders utilizing clinical, neurocognitive, biological and neuroimaging approaches.
