About the Role:
Are you passionate about food, coffee, and exceptional service? AUT operates six bustling food outlets across our City, South, and North Shore campuses, and we're looking for a dedicated Café Supervisor to lead our team at North Campus. You’ll ensure efficient guest services, maintain high standards, and contribute to a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient delivery of guest services.
- Maintain high standards of food and beverage handling and presentation.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English, both oral and written.
- Exhibit strong self-management skills, including organisation and time management.
- Manage ordering for the café.
- Oversee store operations in conjunction with the Retail Manager.
- Assist in maximising productivity and profitability in the café.
- Support the Retail Manager in hiring, induction, training, and staff rostering.
- Lead by example, inspiring the team with a positive attitude and hands-on leadership.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum of two years' experience in café supervision.
- Proficiency in food and beverage handling and presentation.
- Experience with two and three-group coffee machines.
- Strong customer focus.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Effective self-management skills, including organisation and time management.
- Proven leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and develop team members.
