Job Description:

Project Officer (at the rank of Research Assistant I/II) in the Centre for Advancement of Chinese Language Education and Research (CACLER) within the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 536607) (to commence as soon as possible until February 29, 2028, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in the field of Education, Chinese Language, English Language or related discipline. They should be proficient in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English, exhibit good interpersonal and organizational skills, be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to work independently as well as in a team. Priority will be given to those who have good knowledge of the local education context in Hong Kong.

The appointee will work on a project on promoting students’ self-directed learning and Chinese online reading competencies. He/She will assist the Project Leader in overseeing the timeline of project deliverables, coordinate with participating schools and other stakeholders, organize project activities, edit and proofread materials and web content, liaise with other project team members to develop resources and materials for the online platform, provide secretarial and research support, and perform other duties as assigned.
