    Job Description:

    Analyst Developer (at the rank of IT Technician) in the in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 536593) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

    Applicants should possess a good Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines and at least 3 years of experience, preferably in conducting content administration in learning management systems, providing technical support in educational institutions and web application development will be advantageous.

    Applicants should have a strong sense of responsibility with good interpersonal skills, and be able to work well with our dynamic Teaching and Learning Team under a fast-paced environment. We expect applicants to possess profound knowledge in Frontend programming, such as React, Typescript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Backend Programming, such as Node.js. Proficiency in relational databases like MySQL, Postgres DB, SQL Server, and Oracle. Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control. Experience in deploying AI-enabled applications, self-hosting, or integrating Large Language Models, especially for information extraction, chatbot development, or workflow automation would be advantaged.

    The appointee will be responsible for the design, development of applications/systems, maintenance and enhancement for frontline operations in teaching and learning, including the Moodle and Panopto platforms, as well as IT support for different systems and events. He/she will work closely with other software developers and assist the managerial staff in coordinating various IT projects. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or skills test.

    A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
