Project Officer (at the rank of Assistant Technical Manager) in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 536569)
We are looking for a Project Officer (at the rank of Assistant Technical Manager) to join the Faculty of Dentistry.
The Role
The appointee will support the management and development of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities and the Faculty's Global Hub for Future Dentistry (GHFD) programme. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing high-level secretarial and administrative support for the Faculty’s CPD and GHFD;
- Organising and coordinating events such as scheduling, venue booking, participant coordination, and on-site logistics support;
- Facilitating the coordination and promotion of innovation projects;
- Supporting and managing the contents of applications or application programs (APPs), social media, video production, and website development and maintenance;
- Liaising and communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including Faculty staff, clients, and members;
- Preparing marketing and promotional materials; and
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Qualities
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in tertiary institutions, or the education/technology/medical sector;
- Sound knowledge of or experience in APPs, website development and maintenance, social media, and video production is an advantage;
- Ability to work independently with initiative and under pressure;
- Self-motivated with an outgoing and reliable personality;
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritise multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage different stakeholders; and
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
Occasional travel outside Hong Kong and work outside regular office hours (including evenings and weekends) may be required for duty-related events/activities.
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
