Job Description:
0.5 FTE role fixed term to December 2026 to coordinate postgraduate administration & teaching support, ensuring smooth Faculty operations + a great student experience.
Mō te tūka | The role
This role is based in our Faculty of Environment, Society and Design administration team, supporting teaching committee activity and postgraduate programmes across a diverse faculty. You’ll play a key part in keeping things running smoothly — from coordinating postgraduate processes to supporting committees and student engagement.
Some tasks of the role include:
- Coordinating postgraduate applications, records, and thesis progress processes
- Supporting Faculty Teaching Committee meetings, including scheduling and minute-taking
- Administering research funding, scholarships, and reimbursements
- Managing postgraduate student workspace allocations and logistics
- Coordinating postgraduate orientation, events, and engagement activities
- Maintaining key schedules, deadlines, and programme information

This fixed-term role ends December 2026 and is based at our Lincoln Campus working 18.5 hours per week (0.5 FTE).
The salary for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 per annum (pro rata to 0.5 FTE), depending on experience.

You will bring:
- Relevant qualification or at least 5 years’ experience in a similar administrative role
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with digital systems (Moodle desirable)
- Proven administrative and customer service experience in a diverse environment
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, building effective relationships
- A proactive, flexible approach with high attention to detail and confidentiality
