Job Description:
Applications are invited for appointments as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.:536562), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry with a strong background and experience in Synthetic Metal-Organic Chemistry, Photophysics, Luminescence and Light-Emitting Materials. Expertise in chemical synthesis, photophysical characterization and measurements, and functional materials characterization are preferred. Good organizational skills, the ability to work independently, a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation are essential. The appointee will work on the research area of “Organometallic Photochemistry and Photocatalysis” under the supervision of Professor V.W.W. Yam.
