Job Description:

Senior Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I) in the School of Humanities (Music) (Ref.: 536506) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totally up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years’ relevant experience preferably in tertiary institutions, a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, and IT proficiency in common computer applications. They must be good team players, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and passion for working with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

The appointee will provide administrative and clerical support to the programmes offered in the department, with a special focus on the taught postgraduate programme. Responsibilities include assisting with various programme administration, student services, seminars and performance workshops, recruitment and student admissions. He/She will also help to organize the department’s seminars and lectures, provide comprehensive assistance in financial and human resources matters, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
