Job Description:

Student Research Assistant, Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology (Ref.:536542) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants would preferably possess a Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Biomedical Sciences, Medicine or a related discipline. Clear and effective communication skills will be crucial to the role in order to speak, reassure and consent patients for research studies. They should have proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin), good organisational skills, a willingness to learn new skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a collaborative team environment. The appointee will participate in Cardiac MRI and CT research projects. Experience in medical research, particularly in medical imaging or cardiology would be highly desirable. He/She will be responsible for patient liaison, data collection, and clinical data retrieval.
