    Job Description:

    Duties and Responsibilities

    The appointee will play a key role in a large‑scale project promoting mental health and well‑being in Hong Kong primary schools, under the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences. He/She will provide executive, administrative, and logistical support to ensure smooth operation and high‑quality delivery in line with the project’s objectives, timelines, and funder requirements, with major tasks including:

    • Acting as secretary/liaison in major meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Compiling non‑academic reports (financial, progress, annual reports, etc.).
    • Managing project budget, procurement, reimbursement, invoicing, and resources.
    • Organizing and supporting public education, dissemination, and engagement activities.
    • Coordinating website development and digital communication for the project.
    • Providing full range of executive support on project management.
    • Performing other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Sciences, Management, Administration, or a related discipline.
    • 5–7 years’ relevant work and supervisory experience.
    • Versatility in general office administration and project management.
    • Preferably experience in finance functions such as budgetary control, payment and receipt processing, especially in public/quasi‑government sectors.
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese & Putonghua).
    • High IT proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel, and other office applications).
    • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently with initiative, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines, with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Passion for mental health projects.
    • Experience in coordination and implementation of community/education projects, public‑sector funded projects, or charitable foundations will be an advantage.
    • Work experience in tertiary institutions would be an advantage.

    Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Project Executive or Assistant Project Executive.

    What We Offer

    The appointment will commence in September 2026, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

    A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
