Job Description:
Full-time/ Part-time Teaching Assistant in undergraduate courses in Creative Writing in the School of English (several posts) (Ref.: 536421) (to commence on September 1, 2026 for 9 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing in English, English Studies, English Literature, or English Literary Studies; and a postgraduate degree in Creative Writing in English, or another relevant discipline. Those with a good track record or experience in teaching are preferred.
The appointees will work with the course instructors, and provide teaching assistance in undergraduate Creative Writing courses, and perform any other duties as assigned. Enquiries about the post can be directed to [email protected].
The School of English offers an integrated programme in English Studies, including undergraduate teaching and supervision of research students in global literatures in English across periods and genres and the study of English as a language (sociolinguistics, language and communications). The School also contributes to the teaching of the B.A. & B.Ed. in Language Education (English) and the B.A. & L.L.B. double degree programmes.
