Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting an Integration Developer to join the Application Integration Platform team in Te Tai Matihiko – Digital Solutions in a full time role.
Application Integration Platform is Te Tai Matihiko - Digital Solutions strategic integration solution. The team works with the Azure Platform, managing event driven integrations between many systems, with a preference for APIs.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop high quality solutions that meet business and technical needs.
- Work with the team to ensure our integrations are supportable, and maintained within industry best practice.
- Assist team members with clear documentation and handovers.
Ō pūmanawa - About you
We are looking for a candidate with the knowledge, experience, and aptitude to provide high quality development in our Application Integration Platform team.
Key requirements:
- The ability to design, build, and support complex integration solutions in Microsoft Azure.
- Minimum 1-2 years delivering Cloud Integration solutions, minimum 5 years Software Development experience.
- Proven ability to develop integrations in; Microsoft Azure (App Service, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Azure Functions, CosmosDB), C#, .Net, SQL, Visual Studio or VS Code, and Oracle Tools for database access.
- Solution delivery with Agile methodology (such as Scrum and Kanban) and CI/CD leveraging Azure DevOps.
- Proven problem solving and analysis skills, and experience with API testing.
- Strong communication skills; ability to build highly effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Demonstrated experience in working across a number of projects simultaneously.
- Experience in producing high quality documents and reports (Microsoft product knowledge is an advantage).
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology / or relevant experience.
