    Job Description:

    Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 536173) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

    Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Health Sciences, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline. They should have a strong command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, Chinese, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to multitask, work independently and collaborate within a team.

    Preference will be given to candidates with experience in project management or coordination within a healthcare setting. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in health research are also encouraged to apply. Both full-time and part-time positions (with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week) are available. Applicants with higher qualifications and/or substantial experience may be considered for a Research Assistant I position.

    The appointee will be involved in the coordination of research projects evaluating health services delivery. Key responsibilities include:

    • Coordinate and manage research activities related to health services evaluation
    • Liaise with stakeholders, including healthcare providers and research collaborators
    • Oversee project progress
    • Assist in participant recruitment and data collection
    • Prepare research reports
    • Perform other duties as assigned
