Teaching Assistant for Finance and Accounting Courses at Postgraduate Level in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 536746) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, preferably a master’s degree, in Finance, Accounting or Economics, or a related discipline. Rich knowledge of sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics and excellent quantitative skills are necessary for part of the position. Those with professional qualifications such as CFA Sustainable Investing Certificate, CESGA, FRM, CAIA would have an advantage.
The appointee will work with the course instructors and the Programme Office to conduct tutorials and workshops in English for postgraduate courses; prepare course materials; support programme administration, classes and examinations; as well as perform any other duties as assigned. He/She will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus and may need to work outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends.

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/ Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; or min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 2 years’ full-time work experience, preferably in a tertiary institution. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua, good interpersonal and communication skills, computer literacy, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently. Applicants should possess:
• a good bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications or a business-related discipline, with at least 5 to 8 years’ work experience, including substantial experience in marketing or client servicing in a commercial or business setting;
• excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and be able to proofread and edit English and Chinese articles;
• have strong customer service and project management skills; good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills; and solid branding and marketing skills; highly proficient in preparing and handling PowerPoint presentations for programmes and senior stakeholders, and possess basic graphic design capability using tools such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator;
• hands-on experience in email marketing solutions such as Mailchimp or other similar platforms, and familiarity with website content management systems e.g. WordPress;
• proven experience in WeChat content creation, layout design using XiuMi, and community management, as well as experience in LinkedIn content creation and community management;

The appointee will support the Faculty’s development in the Executive Education portfolio, including programme development, marketing and execution. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
• plan and implement integrated marketing campaigns for executive education programmes across digital and offline channels, with a strong focus on content marketing and social media;
• manage the Faculty’s presence and communities on WeChat and LinkedIn, including content planning, copywriting, layout design (using XiuMi for WeChat) and day to day community management;
• prepare and execute email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp or other similar solutions, and coordinate website updates through WordPress or other content management systems; and oversee the development of marketing collateral, PowerPoint presentations, visuals and videos in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external creative or production agencies, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and reinforcing the the Faculty’s Executive Education brand; and
• make regular and effective use of AI tools to support content creation, design workflows and productivity.
The appointee will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus and may be required to work in a fast paced environment, completing tasks to strict deadlines. He/She is expected to work independently with an entrepreneurial spirit and under pressure, and multi-task under tight deadlines.
