Manager, Learning and Development (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 531080) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, preferably a master’s degree, with at least 5 years’ full-time work experience in the field of learning and development, training programme management, student career advising or related fields. They should possess excellent command of written and spoken English, and are expected to be a detail-oriented self-starter with a proactive work attitude, ability to multitask effectively, and have strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Applicants should be passionate about assisting students in their career strategy development, and have a good understanding of the career development needs of UG, TPg, and MBA students.
The appointee will be responsible for the learning and development of students at faculty level, to prepare them in their career development journey. He/She is expected to work closely with students to provide career coaching and training activities and foster strong relationships with external coaches and training providers. He/She will be expected to manage the project management and overall logistics of learning and development activities, having a strong sense of stakeholder management and sense of ownership. He/She will also engage in organising various career-oriented events and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned. The appointee will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and a presentation session.
