This pivotal role manages a team of Regional Managers and is integral to the success of our international recruitment strategy. This role manages the operational performance of the International Recruitment functions, contributes to the development of our international recruitment and marketing plan, and maintains key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Nga haepapa matua | Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of Regional Managers, ensuring alignment with the university's goals.
- Contribute to strategic planning for international recruitment and marketing, driving growth in key markets.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management and colleagues across the International Office.
- Operationalise team plans and strategies, ensuring the effective implementation of initiatives that align with the university's goals and deliver measurable outcomes.

The successful applicant for this role will have:
- A track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies in a global context.
- Exceptional ability to build and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong focus on achieving KPIs and driving team success.
- Knowledge of international student recruitment markets and cultural competence to navigate them effectively.
- Proficient in data literacy and analysis, with a proven ability to make data informed decisions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to influence decision making.
- Excellent organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to streamline processes and implement improvements.
- Previous experience working in a university is an advantage.
