Clerk I in the Department of Civil Engineering (Ref.: 530876) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE OR a minimum Level 2 in 5 subjects in HKDSE with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ work experience. They should be self-motivated, attentive to details and able to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently. They should have a strong sense of responsibility, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while under pressure to meet tight deadlines. A good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills; as well as IT skills are essential.
The appointee will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Department’s human resources and accommodation matters and providing general support to events. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
