Job Description:

Project Officer (Student Affairs) (at the rank of Clerk II) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 530845) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of the basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance).

Applicants should possess a recognised Bachelor’s degree, preferably with 1-2 years of relevant work experience in student affairs, or in the field of hospitality or facilities management. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and good interpersonal and communication skills to handle inquiries professionally. Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications, the ability to prioritise multiple tasks efficiently and work independently as well as in a team. They should also have a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. Demonstrated experience in student engagement as a student leader and/or staff, with a genuine interest in enhancing student services and enriching campus life, would be preferred.

The appointee is expected to perform frontline/receptionist duties and provide a wide range of administrative support for various student support services, events, and activities. He/she will also manage student amenities, including venue bookings, facilities maintenance, and other housekeeping arrangements as needed. He/she is expected to liaise with students and different stakeholders in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner. The appointee will also perform any other duties as assigned. Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
