Part-time Research Assistant II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration

Part-time Research Assistant II in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 530848) (to commence as soon as possible for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding).

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or related disciplines, preferably with at least one year of work experience. They should be competent in research skills, and preferably have experience in social welfare/counselling-related contexts. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational and interpersonal skill; ability to work independently and as a team, and to collaborate with external parties.

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator Professor Sally Cao in implementing an evaluation project on teaching, for a course on introduction to research for social work and social sciences students, and be responsible for participant recruitment, data collection (survey, focus group and interviews) and performing any other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
