Job Description:
Executive Officer in the Faculty of Arts (Ref.: 530825) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience, including 2 years of work experience in university administration. Candidates with experience related to the cultural and creative industries are especially encouraged to apply. Experience with stakeholder relationship management and/or internship placement would be an advantage. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good organizational, interpersonal, communications and problem-solving skills; and an appropriate level of IT proficiency. Applicants should also be able to work independently and under pressure. They should also be good team players with proven ability to handle multiple tasks and be attentive to details.
The appointee will provide administrative support to the planning and execution of the new undergraduate degree programme in Global Creative Industries, handle admissions and promotional activities as well as student matters, manage relations with external stakeholders in the creative industries, serve on committees, and perform other duties as assigned.
