Job Description:

Full-time Research Assistant I in the Faculty of Education (Ref.:530792) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good postgraduate or undergraduate qualification in Computer Science or other related disciplines. Preference will be given to those with experience in developing web-based applications for research on teaching and learning. They are expected to have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on a tight schedule. They should be self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently and within a team. They should also have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on existing codebase and building Web-based learning analytic tools. He/She is expected to have familiarity with HTML, CSS, React, MySQL, experience with Web application development and data visualization, knowledge on natural language processing and large language models. Having knowledge and experience on learning analytics is an advantage but not required.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
