Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic School Administrator to join our team at Te Kaupeka Ako | Faculty of Education. In this key role, you'll provide high-quality administrative support for our programmes, contributing to the smooth and efficient functioning of the faculty while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.

As the School Administrator, your responsibilities will include leading and developing administrative processes, coordinating a variety of programme related tasks, and maintaining effective communication with staff and students alike. You'll be at the heart of the action, ensuring that all administrative procedures are streamlined and executed with precision.

 

Mōu | Who You Are
To thrive in this role you will have at least 3 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably in a tertiary setting or medium to large complex organisation.  What you will bring to the role:

  • exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a keen ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders
  • time management and prioritisation skills, to cope with competing demands to meet deadlines
    a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service to both staff and students
  • outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands and maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Express) and experience using databases (such as Jade SMS)
  • a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring that both electronic and paper-based filing systems are kept accurate and up to date
  • ability to work independently while being an integral part of a collaborative team environment
  • a strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality in all administrative and communication processes
  • experience managing schedules, filing systems and maintaining records efficiently.
