Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Faculty of Arts (Ref.: 530699) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 3 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in a tertiary institution or higher education sector in arts administration. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), as well as good knowledge in MS Office. Applicants should have strong organizational and data analytical skills, high self-motivation and the ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision; be a good team player with the ability to multi-task and be very attentive to details. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in accounting and/or event management. Proficiency in data processing would be an advantage. Candidates with less experience or lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant.
The appointee will assist the Faculty Office and the Arts Tech Lab in providing administrative functions, primarily in budgeting and procurement, finance and resources management, event and student internship programme coordination, and any other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
