Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Urban Planning and Design (Ref.: 530659), to commence on February 3, 2025, or as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Urban Studies, or Human Geography, or other related fields. They should demonstrate knowledge and interest in housing issues and other related social issues in high-density cities. Proficiency in qualitative research methods is highly preferred. Experience in advanced statistical analysis is a plus.
Applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good organizational and data management skills, and good analytical skills.
The appointee will assist with data collection and analysis, and any other academic-related duties as assigned.
Candidates without a PhD degree but who possess a Master’s degree in a highly relevant field may be considered for appointment as Senior Research Assistant.
