Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Manager / Manager (at the rank of Administrative Assistant I/II) (several posts) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 530623) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a good university degree, preferably a Master’s degree with at least 10 years’ work experience in the higher education sector or a related field. They should be excellent communicators with an exceptional command of English and Chinese; possess a strong sense of responsibility and strategic awareness; capable of working proficiently with significant independence; and be able to keep their subordinates motivated to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. They are also expected to possess a high level of decision-making, organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills, as well as an appropriate level of IT knowledge. Experience in undergraduate programme management would be an advantage. Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for appointment as Manager.
The appointees will play a versatile role in leading junior administrative, executive and clerical staff in supporting a range of tasks, on or above operational level, such as undergraduate programme management, curriculum reform, assessment, quality assurance and enhancement of undergraduate programmes as well as provision of student-centred services in teaching and learning. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointments will come with a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary for AAI, or up to 10% of basic salary for AAII.
