Job Description:

Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: )

We now invite applications for the captioned post.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team on research projects related to gastrointestinal and hepatology disease areas
  • Manage clinical trial projects, including subject recruitment, data collection, conduct assessment on subjects
  • May need to process human stool samples and handle other biological specimens
  • Involves in gut microbiota statistical analysis
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Possess a Ph.D. degree with extensive research background, preferably in life science, biomedical science, public health or health-related disciplines
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese)
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • A strong sense of responsibility
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and effective collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently with high motivation

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
