Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of the HR Payroll solution project, within our large ERP Programme. You will have full ownership of the end-to-end project process and will be liaising closely with all stakeholders', vendors and solution implementation partners.

 

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Be part of a large ERP Programme, supporting the overall Programme Manager.
  • Lead, direct and motivate the overall project team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and lead proactive and positive relationships and communication with key stakeholders, ensuring support and buy-in.
  • Taking the lead for project planning, reporting and financials. Creating, monitoring, controlling and reporting on project budgets.

 

Mōu | Who You Are
You will be an experienced Project Manager with at least 7 years' experience managing projects, including managing Payroll implementation projects. You will have demonstratable knowledge of programme and project management tools and techniques,hold a bachelor's degree, and attained professional Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, SCRUM).

You will also have:

 

  • Recent payroll system implementation experience highly desirable, particularly Dayforce experience
  • Results oriented-professional with experience in agile project management.
  • Ability to respond to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Financial literacy to forecast and manage project budgets.
  • A great personality, and ability to work effectively in a larger team, and report to a Programme Manager. whilst supporting a Payroll Subject Matter Expert
  • Ability to influence and build productive relationships with providers and stakeholders.
  • Have a high level of skills and project planning and control, including the use of online delivery tools.
  • You will be an effective problem solver and strong communicator.
  • Good understanding of IT environments and the software lifecycle, and experience managing software and infrastructure projects.

Mahi Ngātahi | Who You Will Work With
You will be part of our Portfolio Management and Delivery practice, sitting within the wider Digital Services team. While you will work in detail with the Digital, Finance, and People & Culture teams, this role is wide ranging, and you will work with people and teams across the University. You will report into the Head of Portfolio Management & Delivery, though day to day you will work closely with the EBC Programme Manager.
